posture, stride mechanics, balance, weight transfer, lateral mobility, vision.......patterns

The foundation of the hockey player begins and ends with posture.  Without correct posture players cannot execute the basic stride mechanics properly, handle the puck effectively, or shoot the puck at speed or under duress.  So all of the work that we do demands proper posture, and from there we move on to weight transfer, balance, stride mechanics, lateral mobility, vision, and all of the other foundational elements that comprise the elite hockey player.  Once the player's foundation is rock solid, we can then work on combining motor skills and patterns (frequently referred to as sequences) to give that player the ultimate edge in games.  We relentlessly practice these patterns so players are prepared for any situation they encounter in a game.  When the puck hits the stick of a player who has trained in our program, they already know what to do and how to do it with speed and precision.
